Office of Advancement

The role of the Office of Advancement is to position the University by articulating a clear image, establish deep and long-lasting relationships with our constituents (alumni, donors, parents, and community), and broaden the resources available to the University through a tradition of philanthropy and community partnerships. Our campus depends greatly on private resources to pursue excellence and advance the institution. The Office of Advancement serves, advises, and consults with the Campus Dean on policy decisions, speaking circuit to local community groups and oversees the activities of its component units:

• Alumni Association (IV Chapter networking support: cultural, professional, regional, and shared interests)
• Development (research/management of planned giving, major gifts, fundraising)
• Legislative Relations (governmental policy/law, business industry)
• Marketing and Communications (media and public relations, campus promotional issues-ex: logo identity and community outreach)
