FALL 2010 TRANFER STUDENTS!!!

You are invited to the Fall 2010 New Student Orientation

Fall Semester: Admission applications being accepted beginning October 1
Deadline: February 5th

Transfer applications filed between October 1, 2009 and February 5, 2010 will be screened for the minimum admission requirements (Golden Four, and 60 units completed by the end of spring term prior to fall admissions, a 2.0 GPA on transferrable units).   From among those, admission will be granted to all those who have:

1. (a)    completed a certified General Education package and

2. (b)    completed all major preparation courses listed in the SDSU General Catalog (with the exception of those preparation courses taught only  at SDSU-IV) by the end of spring term prior to fall admission.

If the enrollment targets have not been met, the remaining applications will be reviewed and admission awarded to those who have partial completion of major preparation courses and general education courses in order of the number of such courses completed by the end of spring term until the enrollment target has been met.  If the enrollment target has not been met, the admissions period will be extended until the target has been fulfilled.

SDSU-Imperial Valley Campus will honor its admissions commitments to students in the 2+2 programs between Imperial Valley College and SDSU-IV.

Spring Semester: No Spring Admissions

Admission Application: The application is available online through CSUMentor at www.csumentor.edu.

Application Fee: $55

Documents That Are Required:

1. Official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended, even if no courses were completed.
2. Official High School Transcript
3. Advanced Placement Score Report
4. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (preparatory education is in a language other than English)
5. You will be notified if additional materials are required.
